DONA-Trained Birth Doula
Supporting cesarean and traditional births at Harris Hospital, Mission Health, Haywood Regional, Union General, Advent Health in Henderson, and home birth
As a DONA-trained and experienced birth doula with nine years of dedicated service, I am deeply passionate about supporting birthing individuals and their families. I've been privileged to witness numerous incredible birth stories, including those at Tampa General and Lakeland Regional in Florida, and now serve families birthing at Harris Hospital, Mission Health, Haywood Regional, Union General, Advent Health in Henderson, with the ability to travel up to two hours. I bring a wealth of knowledge and a calm, reassuring presence to your unique birth experience.
My journey into doula work was profoundly personal, sparked by my own
transformative experiences as a mother of five, including navigating
five Cesarean births. Witnessing firsthand the impact of feeling connected, informed, and supported, regardless of circumstances, ignited a deep passion to specialize in supporting individuals through both planned and emergency C-sections. I am dedicated to guiding you in understanding your options and advocating for family-centered and gentle approaches,
firmly believing that even surgical births can be deeply connected, informed, empowering, and joyful. My own gentle Cesarean experiences profoundly nurtured my mental well-being and fueled my desire to help
others achieve similar positive outcomes.
While deeply experienced in Cesarean support, I am also skilled in traditional hospital-based births and eager to learn and support the magic of home birth. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel confident and respected in their experience, regardless of setting or path.

To further enhance your comfort and well-being, I am trained in the comforting Rebozo method and bring a gentle holistic perspective informed by my herbal studies at the Chestnut School of Herbalism in Asheville, NC. I am also working towards board certification in lactation to provide comprehensive care as you welcome your baby.
My approach centers on empowering you with evidence-based information, offering consistent comfort, and holding a calm and positive space for you to trust your own strength and instincts. Whether you envision a gentle Cesarean, a traditional labor, or a home birth, my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and find moments of connection and calm throughout the process.
As your birth doula, I offer personalized prenatal consultations for preparation and confidence, continuous and attentive support during labor and birth, and nurturing postpartum follow-up to ease your transition into parenthood. Drawing on my lactation studies, I also provide support and resources for early feeding.
Outside of my doula work, I enjoy connecting with nature through foraging and gardening, cherishing family moments, and finding focus and companionship in training my border collies – activities that bring balance and fulfillment to my life and my work.
I am genuinely excited about the possibility of supporting your unique journey to meeting your baby. Please feel free to reach out to learn more about how I can contribute to a positive and supported birth experience for you.
